Innovation Initiative (i2) Project Partner

Being supportive to Malaysian Government's vision of developing Malaysia into a global Information and Communication Technology (ICT) hub, GeniurSoft Group of Companies continues to play a key role in Malaysian Government's program to instill the ICT into the Malaysian companies to enable them to compete globally.

GeniurSoft Group of Companies has been followed closely when Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) and Star Publications (Malaysia) Berhad have launched a new initiative to identify and nurture promising Malaysian technopreneurs last year. The i2 Project, which is short for "Innovation Initiative" is specifically target for the "Young Generation" of technology-oriented SMEs.

To cultivate for successful Malaysian technopreneurs, i2 will initiates two-pronged approach. Firstly, it will identify existing SMEs with promising businesses and/or ideas and provide them with the necessary resources to become successful. Such resources will involve, inter alia, access to incubation services, funding from venture capitalists and corporations, government grants, management skills training, potential customers and business mentors.

Secondly, it will establish a wider framework to expose more Malaysians to entrepreneurship. This will target both young Malaysians at tertiary institutions and also more mature Malaysians with the relevant experience who are considering a career as entrepreneurs.

Being as one of the i2 partners, we may provide variety of supports such as providing funding, becoming beta or pilot customers, becoming business partners, providing SMEs with access to their networks in and outside Malaysia and providing services such as incubation, consulting and training to ensure the success of these promising SMEs.
