Azman B. Hussain B.Sc (Electrical Engineering)
Azman B. Hussain obtained his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama, USA. He is certified Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt from US Air Academy and Green Belt from Sony Corporation.
Mr. Azman has 14 years of solid manufacturing experience with Sony Corporation. He had held many challenging positions in manufacturing environment; ranging from manager to an innovation unit, head to sub-con technical improvement team and head to engineering department (CTV Mount). His prowess in innovative problem solving has saved millions of dollars for his organization every year and made him the most talented engineer in the organization. Some of Mr. Azman's works have been patented by Sony and are used in Sony Six Sigma training syllabus throughout the world.
He has won numerous awards during his stay in Sony, which include:
- Sony Corp President Award for developing new soldering knowledge through DOE and other Six Sigma Scientific Tools.
- Sony Display Sector Gold Prize for being active in board design improvement.
- Best Six Sigma Practitioner in Sony Technology Quality Project.
- Sony HQ Recognition Award for active mount quality improvement.
- Silver Medal from Global Sony Green Management committee for "Lead Free" in Masspro' that his department initiated.
Being a trainer, consultant and speaker, Mr. Azman has also jointly written and developed training courses on SPC, DOE, MSA, and Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt.
Ong See Liang B.Sc (HONS) (Electrical Engineering)
Mr. Ong holds a degree in Electrical and Electronic (1st Class Honours) from University of Malaya in 1994. Many manufacturing companies had consulted him on the application and implementation of plant-wide computerized SPC system for the past 3 years. He is a frequent speaker on SPC and quality related topics and has instructed many engineers and managers on the right usage of the technique.
Mr. Ong has 3 years lecturing experience prior to being a consultant. Besides giving training, he has developed an industry-oriented multimedia education package for teaching SPC in the institutes of higher learning, Mr. Ong's area of expertise is on teaching the concept and practical application of SPC.
Mohamed B. Hassan B.B.A (Actuarial Science)
Mohammed B. Hassan has conducted training and consulting services for local and multinational companies throughout Malaysia. Holding a degree in Actuarial Science, his industry expertise lies primarily in electronics industry (colour television) with Sony Technology Malaysia for 11 years, taking a senior managerial position. He also involved in numerous innovation projects and was the project leader of Supply Chain optimization for the Display Sector while at Sony Malaysia. He was seconded to Sony Production and Control division at Sony Corp Japan for one year. Represented Malaysia in the APEC "White Collar Material Handling and Management" course in Japan where he studied in details on TPS - Toyota Production System.
Apart from conducting training, Mr. Mohammed has performed many consulting projects, some of which include:
- Business process re-engineering improvement in supply management.
- Manufacturability initiative between R&D centre and factory.
- Supply management optimization - optimized and streamlined procurement processes in preparation for e-procurement.
- Conceptual design for new product development.
- Setting key performance indicators (KPI) and defining key design areas in SAP implementation.
Mr. Mohamed's areas of expertise include planning, supply management and supply chain optimization, Change Management, TQM, TPM, Lean Operation, Business Process Re-engineering and problem-solving skills.
Mohd Yusri Dolah B. Eng (Mechanical / System)
A graduate in Mechanical and System Engineering, Mr. Mohd Yusri has extensive experience in quality and production operations for 13 years. His past experience includes 2 years as process engineer with Fujitsu and 11 years with Sony, holding various positions from Senior Engineer to Head of Department.
While heading a department in Sony Malaysia, Mr. Mohd Yusri has step-by-step transformed his department operation to lean; building cellular system, flexible operation, supply chain, visual control and improving quality. He has contributed much to his company's success, which has been awarded the best Sony manufacturing plant worldwide. He has also won many awards for his department.
Mr. Mohd. Yusri is also a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma. His expertise covers lean manufacturing, business process re-engineering, Six Sigma and cost management.
